Get ready to enjoy an immersive journey into movement, music, and the spiritual heart.
Event Details
Join us for an immersive guided ecstatic dance experience, designed to help you clear emotional clutter, free the body, harmonise the energetic body and reconnect to your Divine creative power.
This is your invitation to release what no longer serves you and rise with renewed clarity, energy, and purpose.
Through conscious movement, the breath, rhythm and intention, we will journey from the ground up. Beginning in stillness and rooted presence, we’ll build into deep, primal release—then lift into soaring, heart-led freedom.
This is not a performance, it’s a process of self-inquiry and self-discovery. It’s a safe space to explore what’s alive in you, to let it move through and move out, and to meet yourself in truth and transformation.
What Is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic dance is a freeform conscious movement practice, with no way of doing it “wrong.”
During ecstatic dance, you’re invited to move however your body wishes, allowing rhythm and instinct to guide you through freeform movement, as opposed to following rigid choreography.
Dakini Dance is held in a welcoming, judgement-free, women-only environment so that you can move with a sense of emotional safety and mental liberation. The venue is also strictly alcohol and substance-free.
Ecstatic dance encourages self-expression, emotional release, and deep connection—to yourself, others, and the Divine.
It’s both a personal journey and a communal experience, offering a powerful way to shift energy, relieve stress, and return to your body’s natural wisdom.
Whether soft and subtle or wild and cathartic, it is a dance of freedom, presence, authenticity and playfulness.
What Are The Benefits Of Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic dance offers a wide range of benefits for the body, mind and spirit. Physically, it’s a natural and joyful way to move, helping to release tension, improve flexibility and boost vitality.
Mentally, it supports mindfulness and stress relief, allowing space to quiet the overactive mind and drop into the present moment.
Emotionally, it provides a powerful outlet for expression and release—whether it’s joy, grief, anger or love—without the need for words.
Spiritually, it can feel like a moving meditation or prayer, creating a sense of connection to the Divine.
Above all, ecstatic dance is a celebration of freedom, where you can return to your body, your breath, and your True self.
This session is the perfect way to harness the power of movement for your self-empowerment journey.
Event Itinerary
To begin our Dakini Dance session, you’ll be introduced to the basics of ecstatic dance philosophy so that you understand the principles of practice.
This will be followed by a grounding practice, breathwork, and intention setting.
We’ll then move into a warm-up and our Dakini Dance session. You’ll be provided with post-dance reflection journalling prompts to make the most out of your session.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ll be guiding you through each music track with prompts, so you’ll have support along your somatic movement journey if you wish to use it—this is often really helpful for beginners.
Alternatively, you’re also free to move however you intuitively like during the session if you’re already confident in your own practice.

This event is suitable for beginner, intermediate and experienced yoga and somatic movement practitioners.
