Do Men And Women Need To Practice Yoga Differently? 

Men and women need to approach yoga differently due to their biological differences.

Can Beginners Go To Yoga?

Yes, beginners can practice yoga! 

If you’re nervous about starting yoga because you’re a beginner, or you feel like you might not be flexible, strong or fit enough, then check out my article here; I’m not flexible, fit or strong—can I still do yoga?

 

Can I Eat Before Yoga?

The short answer is no, you should treat yoga like any other type of physical fitness or workout—it is not recommended to eat before doing yoga.

It is best to practice yoga on an empty stomach, and before consuming stimulants such as caffeine and sugar.

How Are You Supposed To Breathe During Yoga?

There are a variety of different guidelines for breathwork in yoga depending upon the teacher and tradition.

How Do I Set Up A Yoga Practice At Home?

How Often Should I Practice Yoga?

How often you should practice yoga depends on your lifestyle, schedule and yoga journey goals combined with your physical, mental, emotional, and energetic constitution and capacity—yoga is a tailored practice.

What Do I Bring To A Yoga Class, Do I Need A Yoga Mat?

If you’re practising yoga in a venue or yoga studio, then it’s best to check with the venue or hosting teacher to see if they supply yoga mats and yoga props for you—if not you’ll be expected to bring your own yoga mat at the bare minimum.

In general, you can wear an outfit that is similar to what you would wear to the gym, apart from yoga is generally practised barefoot.
